Barbara Trzcinski is an American realist painter. Her oil paintings depict people, flowers, and objects painted from life. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, she trained and worked as an industrial designer. Leaving the design world, Barbara continued her study of fine art, earning a BFA in painting from the University of Illinois. Her education continued when she moved to San Diego, California and studied at the La Jolla Athenaeum under Ken and Stephanie Goldman, and Pat Kelly. Today Barbara divides her time between her San Diego studio and her apartment in Harlem, New York.
